| Meer info | De 1983 à 1985, Jean-Michel Basquiat (1960-1988) et Andy Warhol (1928-1987) signent environ 160 toiles « à quatre mains », dont certaines parmi les plus grandes de leurs carrières respectives. Basquiat admirait Warhol comme un personnage-clé du monde de l?art, initiateur d?un langage inédit et d?un rapport original à la culture populaire. En retour, Warhol a trouvé chez Basquiat un intérêt renouvelé pour la peinture. Avec lui, il a recommencé à peindre manuellement, au pinceau. Un véritable dialogue visuel s?est installé entre eux, jusqu?à la création d??uvres portant leurs deux noms.
