Jacob Böhme (1575 1624) is one of the most important German thinkers. His writings have influenced literature, philosophy, religion and art beyond national borders from his time up to the present. One hundred years after the beginning of the Protestant Reformation on the eve of the Thirty Years? War Böhme wanted to give voice to the need for a deep spiritual and philosophical renewal.
