| Meer info | 1st edition thus. Folio. An exceptional edition of this classic Japanese tale. Seven etchings were incorporated in the text. A suite of two etchings (25.5 x 37.5 cm) printed separately (numbered and signed) on Guarro paper, accompanies the book. All etchings were pulled from the presses of the D. Long Studio in Madrid, Spain. The Japanese text was calligraphed by Seiji Kitagawa, Takada, Japan and was translated into English by Sumoi Adachi. The English text was set in 16° Bodoni. The book was printed by Julio Soto, Madrid, Spain on paper handmade by R. Serpa, Imago Paper Mill, Oakland, California and was bound by H. Halbach, Königstein, Germany.\nThe edition was limited to 75 copies, numbered 1-75/75-75 + 6 copies H.C. and 6 proof copies. All were numbered and signed by the artist (in English and Japanese colofon). Designed by Milos Sovak and Sumi Adachi. \n\"Books as Art from Ettan Press: There are books which stand by themselves as objects of art.
