| Meer info | First edition, first issue without the added leaf of preface that was omitted from this first issue due to an oversight of the printers and the (distant) author's inability to give the book final approval. The book was edited in London by Leonard Huxley who had prepared the official account of Scott's Terra Nova expedition for the press. Taylor's is an important first-hand account of the expedition and one of the scarcest of the primary accounts; many of the illustrations are new to this work and complement those in the official account. |
